CFC College Ministry
With four universities within ten minutes of Christian Fellowship Center, we recognize our immediate sphere of influence. Over 45 countries are represented in this small area, as well as all of the American students who will call this place home for four years or more. CFC’s college ministry exists to change the spiritual climate on the campuses and to reach as many students as possible in this transitional time of their lives.
The college ministry of Christian Fellowship Center has seen thousands of students throughout the years – the goal is not to retain them for life (we understand our position as a place of training and sending out), but to teach them the value of local church and family. Most of the key leaders at CFC were college students who never left, so we don’t mind it when that happens. But our goal is to provide a place for discipleship to happen and relationship building.
From December of 2006-2010 CFC rented storefront space at 57 Market Street in downtown Potsdam for use as the College Life Center. We experienced a lot of growth and impact during our time at 57 Market. The building was used for classes, Bible studies, training seminars, Life Group (our weekly worship and speaking time), and prayer meetings. People passing on the busy street were often invited inside for a cup of coffee or to satisfy their curiosity–one of the most commonly heard questions from the public “What is this place?”
In 2011 we purchased 41 Main Street in Potsdam, and are excited to have this excellent location as we reach out to all four major campuses (Clarkson, SUNY Potsdam, SUNY Canton, and St. Lawrence University) through college ministry and events there!

Lifegroup
LifeGroup is a great time of weekly worship, teaching, and fellowship for our college students! We meet on Wednesdays at 7pm throughout the semester and this is definitely a highlight of the week for students and young adults.
